Dementia Support

The task of caring for someone with dementia can be difficult and, at times, overwhelming. Sometimes it helps just to know that someone else is going through the same thing and understands what you're going through.

Dementia is progressive decline in cognitive function due to damage or disease in the brain beyond what might be expected from normal aging. Diseases that cause dementia include Alzheimers, Picks, Multi-infarct dementia (vascular dementia), Frontotemporal lobar degeneration (FTLD), and Dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB).

Pick's Disease

My dad was diagnosed with Pick's disease in the year 2000. I put together this movie in order to help people better understand what it is my family (especially my mom) is going through.
